Swan Creek Farms began teaching riding lessons, boarding horses, and competing at horse shows on May 20, 1970. For nearly fifty years, we have taught children and adults in the riding school and trained horses and riders for horse shows on our family owned 37 acre farm on the corner of Mecox Road and Halsey Lane. The Topping children, Jagger, Gretchen, and Christian, grew up on the farm with their parents, Patsy and Alvin. We have all been involved with producing excellence from the beginning.

Swan Creek exemplifies family values, manners, hard work, and compassion for all people and animals and the land we live on. Join us and learn to ride, love the pony or horse, acquire life skills, and become part of our family.

Jagger Topping

From a very early age, Jagger began riding and working alongside his parents, Patsy & Alvin at Swan Creek. After graduating from CW Post College, he returned to Swan Creek to finish his years as an amateur rider and then continued to help his parents run the farm. Jagger has had great success as an amateur and professional rider, competing at the National level with his own horses, clients horses and with many students.

Mandy Topping

Mandy rode and competed as a child and after graduating from the University of MN, began working for Anne Aspinall at Topping Riding Club in Sagaponack.  After meeting Jagger, she continued to compete as an amateur at the National level.

In 2005, Mandy and Jagger took the reins from Patsy and Alvin and continued to operate Swan Creek with the same commitment, vision and love for the land, the sport and the animals.

Over the years, they have experienced success with their riders, their horses and themselves both at the National and Regional levels.
